Eva Verhoef is a Dutch visual artist. She creates audiovisual installations and performances.
“As a visual artist I am always looking for ways to stimulate the senses of the visitor. I want to create an experience, inspired by psychological or philosophical theories. I am fascinated by the human brain, time, space and the influence of the human body and the human mind on each other. I am fascinated by abstract structures and a minimalistic style and how they can create certain feelings, and influence the perception of the visitor. I find the combination of image and sound important to create an optimal experience, how can they strengthen each other.”
